366PS, a wishlist and a stunning campaign
A one-year road trip through Europe with the new Kia Stinger GT and the goal to fulfill a whole bucket list were the ingredients for the most successful campaign for Kia Motors Europe. A triumph in five parts.
Kia won't let you down. Lots of PS, sleek design and good performance are the hallmarks of the new Kia Stinger. A sports car from Kia? That wasn't just new to me.
The challenge? How do you transfer the sense of freedom and lightheartedness of your own bucket list into a digital campaign?
Our answer was to transform the raw emotion directly into digital and show the experience to the viewer. In five different pre-launch and launch phases we traveled to the Scottish cliffs, to the Tomatina Tomato Festival in Buñol or spinned records at a Berlin club.
It was a joy to work in that diverse team. By being responsible for all video assets, I was able to learn a lot and grow. After all, the campaign demanded everything: Editing, Sound Design, Motion Design, 3D Animation, 2D Animation and Post Production.
I had a lot of fun working on this big range of assets. However after seeing what it looks like to be at the Tomatina Festival, I don't want that anymore.
